“The First Of Jesse Rucilez” (Video Playlist)

In 1977, my father Jess Rucilez recorded an album of country-rock covers titled “The First Of Jesse Rucilez.” The album contains several great tracks, such as Marty Robbins’ “You Gave Me A Mountain,” and the classic, “My Way.” Although an accomplished drummer and guitar player, Dad only sang on the album, but his powerful vocals never fail to impress. He and my uncle David–known as The Rucilez Brothers–were local celebrities in the Reno, Nevada area throughout the 70s and 80s. Now long since retired from the entertainment industry, Dad’s greatest achievement remains this superb album from his youth. As a tribute to this fact, I created a simple video for each track, and uploaded each to my Youtube channel. Please check it out, and feel free to subscribe:

Thank you,

JLR
